Site design and permitting for building additions, new sanctuary, and parking lot improvements.

Project Manager/Team Leader for fast-track permitting of a 159K sq. ft. Lowe's Home Improvement Center The on-site wetland corridor and utility easements through the site required out of the box thinking in order to meet project objectives and permitting requirements.

Project Manager/Team Leader for fast-track permitting of a 159K sq. ft. Lowe's Home Improvement Center, with additional retail and restaurant pad site development. Challenges included extensive rock cuts (50+) in close proximity to existing residences.

Project Manager/Team Leader for the design and permitting of a new shopping center with over 285K sq. ft. of retail, restaurant, and hotel space. Challenges included extensive traffic improvements and off-site right-of-way acquisitions.

Project Manager/Team Leader for the design and permitting of the redevelopment of the former Wal-Mart Plaza in Wallingford Connecticut with a 175K sq. ft. Lowe's Home Improvement Store. The proposed stormwater system design included innovative techniques which allowed extensive re-use of the existing stormwater management system on the site.

Project Manager/Team Leader for the design, permitting, and construction administration for the redevelopment of an existing retail center with a 175k sq. ft. Lowe's Home Improvement Center. Challenges included extensive utility and driveway reconstruction while maintaining the operation of the operating stores within the center.

Project Manager/Team Leader for the design, permitting, and construction administration for the development of a new 159K sq. ft. Lowes Home Improvement Center. Challenges included extensive work in the floodplain, extensive wetlands on the site, and off-site roadway improvements. Regulatory challenges included a necessary zone change and relief from standard parking requirements.

Site Design and Permitting Manager for the new F-W multi magnet high school on a portion of the Fairchild Memorial Park in Trumbull, CT. The proposed 270,000SF school will provide specialized training in the fields of engineering, zoology/biology, and information technology, with various programs partnering with local businesses to provide real-life experience for the students. The site topography presented extreme challenges which were overcome with innovative design techniques such as under-building parking. A state-of-the-art stormwater management system is proposed which includes multiple bio-filtration and infiltration elements to maintain stormwater quality while regulating stormwater discharge rate/volumes to existing downstream drainage systems. The project is on track to achieve a LEED silver certification and open in fall 2013, with construction starting spring, 2011.

Site Design and Permitting Manager. DTC is providing landscape architectural, civil and structural engineering services to facilitate an addition to the existing Greenwich High School. The addition will house a new state of the art performing arts theater for school and community use. As part of the project the existing theater space will be converted into other school program areas. DTC's design team will study the existing parking and provide a zero net loss of parking once the project is completed. The project also entails utilization of alternative drainage and paving techniques in order to control storm water runoff. DTC's landscape architectural group will address the process of seamlessly blending the proposed building addition in with the existing school while also providing outdoor gathering areas, improved bus loop access, a new parent drop off area and safer pedestrian circulation corridors . Other services included for this project consist of building structural engineering, site layout, revised vehicular circulation, site lighting, landscaping, extension or relocation of site utilities and local and state permitting.

Project Manager for the design, permitting, and construction administration of a PreK-4 community elementary school. Small site and LEED certification required use of sub-grade parking to increase green space and preserve existing athletic fields that serve as a de-facto town park.

Project Engineer for the 122,000 sq. ft., $48 million, science building for the biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy and meteorology departments for Western Connecticut State University. In addition to classrooms, the facility includes research laboratories, lecture auditoria, a greenhouse, an observatory and the WCSU Weather Center. He was responsible for grading and drainage design and extensive utility coordination. The science building was the first state funded building project seeking LEED Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, which works to promote environmentally responsible and sustainable buildings.

Review and observation of existing septic system and dosing chamber. Provided report and solutions to dosing chamber failure.

Site design and permitting for new free-standing early learning center, athletic field construction and improvements, and on-site subsurface sewage disposal system.

Classroom and gymnasium additions/code upgrades to existing middle school. Project also included parking area reconfigurations and extensive drainage improvements.

Two phase classroom and administrative office additions as well as code upgrades. Extensive reconstruction of parking areas/bus loop and drainage systems.

Numerous projects, including new dormitories, locker room expansion, library expansion, and additions to the on-campus college preparatory school. Extensive coordination of existing utilities, including campus communication system and combined heating system (steam piping).
